About

Hi!

You're probably here because you followed the button from the home page. I appreciate that you’re here and excited that you’re interested in knowing more about Harlo!

Stickers is the main focus with Harlo, but one day I’m hoping to expand to clothing and other items.

Harlo all began back in the Summer of 2023. I was away in a small town in Northern British Columbia working an integrity pipeline job. I loved the small rural town and got to explore a lot of the back country while I was out there. As a blue collar worker, most jobs require a hard hat on site, and many like to put stickers on them. Since there wasn’t access to any stores to get stickers in the small town, I wanted to make some and hand them out to coworkers. I started with 10 designs and ordered them through an online platform that made stickers. I handed some out but was left with a lot of extra stickers that I didn’t know what to do with. One of my coworkers thought the designs were good and suggested I should sell them online. That’s where it all took off!

I created an Etsy account and began to see sales rolling in. Eventually I invested in a Cricut machine so I was able to create my designs at home without needing to outsource. This was great because then I had a lot more creative freedom to make the stickers how I wanted.

Fast forward to today and Harlo has over 30+ designs being sold with goals of expanding even more.

Personal Life:

I know it’s probably surprising to think I work in the Blue collar field, but I love to get my hands dirty and shoot the shit with the boys. I've worked in a few different industries within the trades world, but it all started with going to school to become a Horticulture Technician.

Growing up, I was raised on a little hobby farm in Smithers, British Columbia raising meat birds and having other farm pets. We used to race the old Honda 50 alongside the ride on lawnmower and in the winter my Dad would drag us on a toboggan behind the snowmobile.  I had a very outdoorsy and Country upbringing and love to bring that aspect of my life into the stickers I create.

Now I live in Alberta and love to explore the bike trails, seek comfort in the Mountains and experience all the prairie lifestyle has to offer.
